Spectrum: know what your own links are doing.
Spectrum is awareness of the radio environment and protection of a system's own links. It starts with the links Avano already runs, which need no receiver of their own. It does not design, describe or enable jamming: that is refused in writing, and protection here means a link that keeps working.
What exists of Avano Spectrum today.
A device's software can ask how each of its links is doing: a burst of noise, a flood from a neighbour, a link silent one way, frames lost and sent again and pieces rebuilt from spares each show as a count of their own, and a clean link reads clean.
A whole device can keep radio silence: it receives and transmits nothing, or only in short windows on a schedule its commander sets; in our tests a silent device handed its radio nothing for ten minutes and everything it wrote crossed once it could speak.
A second radio transmits nothing while the main one is heard and takes over after the main radio is jammed, after a quiet time the maker sets; in our tests it sent nothing while the main radio worked and took over once the main radio was jammed.
Since 5 November 2026 each link learns its own normal from its health counters, and a change is flagged with its evidence: noise or forgery on the channel, a flood, corrupted or lost packets, or a receive side gone quiet while the device still sends.
No design, instructions or code for jamming or for any effect against others' radios.

Nothing further without a radio: the next step is a real radio's own signal and noise measures beside these counts.
